The AMV-X is a bold and expressive wine, a blend that highlights the diversity of McLaren Vale’s vineyards and soils. Each variety in this unique blend—Tempranillo, Grenache, Mataro, and Carignan—is carefully sourced from sites that best showcase the grape's potential.

The Tempranillo comes from the dark biscay soils of the "Little Vineyard" near Willunga, offering structure and richness. Grenache is sourced from the sand over clay soils of Blewitt Springs, contributing bright red fruit and vibrancy. High in the Sellicks foothills, the slate and loam soils cultivate Mataro, adding complexity and depth. Finally, the Carignan is grown in the clay and limestone soils of the Warboys Vineyard, adjacent to the Angove McLaren Vale Cellar Door, delivering earthy undertones and balance.
