"Half destemmed and crushed on top of the other half as whole bunches; indigenous ferment with hand plunging daily; 16 months in older French oak. This pours pale and exudes charmingly vivid notes in the cranberry, pomegranate, wild raspberry and redcurrant spectrum. It’s a wine built with serious intent, and the transformation with air makes it more sultry, moodily floral, spicy and earthy, while losing none of its upfront seduction. Crushed rose petals, musk, celery salt and pink peppercorns perfume the palate and trail through the finish, the tannins suitably effective, refining but not constricting the supple plushness."
