The core is delicious blackcurrant and cherry fruit with some spice, touch of warmth. Very good and hard not to drink. Generous and creamy a touch minty on the finish. Hint of warmth.”

The Warboys Vineyard is one of the Angove Family's best sites in the heart of McLaren Vale and surrounding the Angove McLaren Vale Cellar Door. The stunning site is certified organic and biodynamic and planted to some of the oldest Shiraz and Grenache vines in McLaren Vale, producing wines of full flavour and silky structure. A fantastic site, the Warboys Vineyard wines show the uniqueness of soil, site and season. The nose of this wine is initially rich and comforting in tones of chocolate and Christmas spices amidst red berry fruit. With time, the fruit becomes brighter and more nuanced floral and savoury characters emerge. The palate is powerful but poised, with textural tannins and juicy fruit—cellar Potential 15+ Years.
