"From three estate sites, Willunga on black clay, the loam of the Warboys Vineyard and 1940s vines in Blewitt Springs; 17 months in new and seasoned French oak. This is lusciously rich, supple and textured, with cascading blackberry, loganberry and dark plum fruits, salted licorice, bitter chocolate, preserved black cherry and toasty oak notes. It’s keenly crafted, with balance and enough tension, though it’s certainly sitting at the fuller end of the spectrum."
