Orange blossom aromas upfront open up to notes of amontillado sherry, roast cashew, and cedar shavings with hints of honey, maple syrup, chocolate and some spice. The aroma reveals more as it opens up in the glass.

On the palate, initial white pepper heat is mellowed by intense French oak that builds a textural mid palate. Immediate caramel and medium toffee flavours, develop into walnut and raisin with some elements of maple syrup & spice. Tannin firmness in mid palate finishes long and smooth. Clean & fresh.

A spirit that is more complex and pure than standard XO. Minimum spirit age 20 years old. Oldest component distilled in 1970.
