BOTTLE SHOCK: BIG BLIND LEAGUE TASTING EVENT
Bottle Shock’s Big Blind League is bringing competitive blind tasting to Angove McLaren Vale – and anyone can play.
Every wine is poured blind, so the palate is the only thing in play.
The McLaren Vale Cup is the last of the Big Blind League’s five Regional Cups: competitive blind tasting, run as a sport. Forty players, McLaren Vale Grenache to open, then knockout rounds until one champion is left standing, and the winner takes a seat at the $5,000 Grand Final.

Champion crowned by 3pm.

Round 2 – BLIND LEADING THE BLIND TRIVIA
Wine Trivia – Four Categories, Sixteen questions. Everyone Plays.
The top 4 scorers, not already through, take a seat in The Blackout round.
Round 3 – THE BLACK OUT ROUND
Win Your Cup and an Automatic Seat at the Grand Final table, with a shot at the $5,000 prize.
Black glasses, head-to-head, bracketed knockout tastings. No colour, no labels, no hiding.
From 8 down to 1, the last palate standing wins the McLaren Vale Cup!
